Bedard Pharmacy is
making it easier to stay healthy this winter. The pharmacy
hosted its first flu clinic on November 1st. The clinic
offered flu shot vaccines provided by Retail Health Network's
nurses.
In
late September, Bedard was a sponsor of the 2nd annual
Aging Well & Living Well Conference at the
Poland Spring Inn in Poland. The event was organized
to educate and inform active seniors about retirement
living, travel, investments, senior services, long-term
care options, health, home buying and selling, hobbies,
and much more. Bedard Medical Equipment & Supplies
held a seminar on adaptive equipment for the home.
Bedard Medical Equipment & Supplies
helped celebrate Breast Cancer Awareness month by sponsoring
an event called Celebrating Courage. The October event,
held at the Maine Mall, was designed to increase awareness
for Breast Cancer, to raise money for beneficiaries,
and to celebrate breast cancer survivors. All
money raised from the event was donated to the Maine
Cancer Foundation.
